The Feel Good Medicine
As you may know, exercise can help to relieve frustration, stress and it can often alleviate anger. Even if you briskly walk for 30 minutes everyday it can help your overall stress level and it will not require any equipment at all. Exercise can also help to relieve pain, insomnia and even depression. This is all do to the fact that exercise causes the body to release endorphins, our body’s own natural feel good medicine.
Change
At 51 years of age, I found myself at a crossroads in my life. Many people do, especially in the current economic environment. How does a person start over in their 50’s or 60’s? I truly believe that when change comes along, and it always does, it’s time to follow your passion. The first step is always the hardest, because you must find confidence within yourself. Not easy, to be sure. Honestly, though, what have you truly got to lose? Look deep inside your heart and follow where it leads. You just might learn that change is not such a bad thing after all.
